Your body is a part of the Earth and she speaks with you through your body. Once you are able to let go of judgements about your body, this inner connection can be made. We are all one. It’s time for humans to return to nature. To accept our bodies, to embrace our uniqueness and come home to our true nature within human form.

Connecting with nature through your body

Return to nature and come back to your own nature: your body. Your body and the body of Earth are one, the beauty you see in nature a reflection of the beauty within you. Gaia is inviting you to embody your own naturalness, to open up to the connection between your body and all of nature, to reawaken to the harmony and unity and freedom which is present in nature ánd in your own heart.

When you judge and don’t accept your own body, you are disconnected from the rhythm and wisdom inherent in nature that communicates to you through your body. By accepting yourself and every part of your own nature, your wildness, you start sensing outer nature through your body and open up to the guidance and resources from the natural world that will help you bring unity, harmony, authenticity, openness, and beauty into your reality.

Being seen and photographed in your natural form in nature,  you can start to feel this connection again. You can feel the beauty that is present in nature flowing through you too, and let go of any limiting beliefs or distorted perceptions you have about the way you look. You are nature in human form, your body is an extension of the body of Earth, therefore you are nothing but beautiful. 

A portrait of your body and soul

Beauty is a reflection of the divine. You may have learned that beauty belongs to only a few, with certain body types and certain features, yet this is not true beauty. True beauty is the beauty of your soul. Your soul doesn’t have bad days. Your soul doesn’t have a ‘good side’ or a ‘bad side’. Your soul’s beauty is the unique, radiant light coming from your heart, that shines through your body.

Your body is a perfect mirror of your own soul, a pure reflection of your divinity in human form. During a photoshoot, I am capturing the essence of who you are. I see the unseen part of you, the origin of your true beauty, and use the camera as an extension of my heart, to capture your divinity shining through your body. So you can truly perceive yourself without judgement and honor the uniqueness of your being. 

You are nature in human form

How would it feel to be one with nature? To feel no separation between your skin and the skin of the earth? To feel the elements around you and within you? And to be connected again to the divine intelligence that is present in nature? This photoshoot is not just about the images, but about feeling you are part of nature, so you can remember you are nature in human form.

I will guide you into connecting with nature through your senses and together we will wonder and explore the natural environment in which we’ll shoot, all the while capturing you in and with nature. This can be in the forest, on the beach or any other place you feel naturally drawn too. 

By reconnecting with nature outside of yourself, you connect with nature within yourself and vice versa. This photoshoot is an opportunity for you to experience and remember you are an extension of nature and see yourself mirrored in the beauty of Earth.

Behind the camera…

Hi, my name is Suzanne and I am the woman behind the lens! I have a unique vision and approach to portrait photography and I invite you to watch the video to get to know me better and learn how I work. I have photographed hundreds of women, in all shapes and forms, from professional models to women who are not used to (or feel comfortable) in front of the camera. This allowed me to perceive and capture someone’s unique essence and true beauty.  In this photoshoot container I hope to give you the experience to fully be with nature and feel one with nature, through your body.  After all, to love the body of earth is to first love our own bodies.

More than just a photoshoot

This container is not just about ‘pretty pictures’. It’s about connecting with your body and the body of the earth, it’s about feeling one with nature, it’s about experiencing feeling beautiful and confident in your body, it’s about shifting the perception you have of yourself and seeing yourself fully.

  • To prepare you for the photoshoot I have created an online portal with 8 lessons where I will share about what to expect during the shoot, how to feel comfortable in front of the lens and insights about the magic of portrait photography and what beauty truly is.

  • The photoshoot will be around 2-3 hours. During this time we will wonder and explore our natural environment, follow where we are drawn to go and I’ll guide you into connecting with nature through your body.

  • The total investment (in yourself) is €1.111.

    This includes:

    • Access to online portal with 8 lessons to prepare you for the photoshoot experience.

    • 2-3 hours photoshoot

    • 3 film rolls (roughly 108 photos)*

    • 30 digital images of choice*

    • film development

    *The amount of final photos depends on how they come back from development. With film there is the element of surprise so sometimes a photo isn’t sharp or the lighting or development aren’t perfect. From the total selection, you may choose 30 images, which you will receive in digital form. It is possible to purchase all images for an additional charge of €350.

FAQ

  • I am currently based in the Netherlands. If you are Dutch, please reach out and we can discuss a location within the country. In 2025-2026 I have trips planned to Mallorca, Sweden/Norway, South Europe, Australia and New-Zealand (for now).

    If you are interested in a shoot, please reach out to me and let me know where you are or where you want to shoot and we might be able to work it out. I love to travel to beautiful destinations :)

    For retreats I am available world wide.

  • You can wear anything you feel beautiful and yourself in! It is absolutely not necessary to be nude (although this usually happens organically if the location/weather allows). There is a video in the pre-shoot portal where I go deeper into what clothing you can bring and the topic of nude shoots.

  • Don’t worry, I have heard this a thousand times and it has never resulted in an ‘unsuccessful’ shoot. I have lots of experience with shooting women who feel uncomfortable in front of the camera and I will guide and direct you during the shoot. In the pre-shoot online portal there are multiple videos to prepare you for the shoot so you can feel comfortable to be seen in your wholeness. I promise you: it will be super FUN to be in front of my lens :)

  • After the shoot I will send you a selection of all the images that are ‘good’ (as in sharp, good lighting, no eyes closed etc.) and you can choose 30 images which you will receive digitally. It is possible to purchase all the images for an additional €350.

  • After the shoot I will send the film rolls to the lab for development and when the scans are back I will make a selection for you to choose your 30 favourite images out of. You can expect the turn-around to be between 2-3 weeks (please note I am not responsible for any delay caused by the film lab).

  • My way of photographing is about allowing, receiving and surrendering and not about control. This is why I love analogue photography, because there is more room for magic and less room for control. Once an image is taken, it’s taken, and we only see the results of it afterwards. With film photography there is the element of imperfection, authenticity and accepting what is. This is what I hope to inspire you with this photography container: to see the beauty in imperfection, to embrace your authenticity and accept the way you are and look.

  • Yes! You can book me as a photographer to offer individual shoots to your guests. This often works well with a group workshop on nature connection, soul beauty and photography followed by individual shoots (or in groups of 2-3 women). There are many ways, please reach out and we can schedule a call to discuss :)

    Please note that this does not mean I am the ‘retreat photographer’ and I will not take photos during the retreat of all the activities such as yoga, circles, food etc.

  • It is amazing you know what you want, however it might not be in alignment to choose me as your photographer, as I do not recreate or copy images or even decide before the shoot how I want the images to look like. I invite you to watch the video above to learn about my ways of photographing. During the shoot I am not ‘taking’ photos, but ‘receiving’ photos, this is a very intuitive and in-the-moment process, where my mind and ego take a step back and my heart is the one seeing you and capturing you. There is no room for ‘control’ on my side, hence I am not able to create pre-planned images, and the images will be exactly as they should be: beautiful and perfect.

  • No, I do not work with a moodboard. The images will be exactly as they should be. This photoshoot is not about controlling how you look or creating certain images that are ‘social media worthy’ or only show your ‘good side’ (according to your perception, if you ask me: all your sides are good!) I invite you to watch the video above to learn my way of photographing. During the shoot I will connect to the essence of beauty and divinity that is present within you and the images that will be taken will reflect that.
