Hi! My name is Suzanne, but most people call me Suus.

Writing an ‘about me’ is no easy feat, how to put 30 years into a single page? So let me state the most important: I am Suus, I am a human, I am a tree, I am the wind, I am the sky, I am that insect that was just bugging you. I am One with all that there is. Connected to all that there is. At least, that is how I experience and perceive myself, others and the world around me.

A few years ago, Mother Earth started whispering to me,  inviting me to come home, to my own body, to my own nature. Do you hear her call? I believe by accepting, embracing and loving our own nature, we take our unique place in the Web Of Life. By remembering who we are and seeing our own essence, we can share our gifts with the world and help seed peace, harmony, balance and joy. This is the journey I am on and wish to guide others with as well, through photography, writing and nature connection practices.

I created this website and online journal as a place for creative expression, to share personal reflections, thoughts, the beauty I see in this world and messages from the more-than-human world. I hope to inspire you to go into nature more often, to appreciate the uniqueness and beauty in all beings (including yourself) and remember: we are one world.
