Hi! My name is Suzanne, but most people call me Suus. Writing an ‘about me’ is no easy feat, how to put 30 years into a single page? Honestly, a lot of it is not worth writing about or in any way related to this website. So let me state the most important: I am Suus, I am a human, I am a tree, I am the wind, I am the sky, I am that insect that was just bugging you. I am One with all that there is. Connected to all that there is. At least, that is how I experience and perceive myself, others and the world around me.

I have always loved nature, always had a wild imagination and I have always been a dreamer. There was a time when all of that faded to the background, when human conditioning kicked in, when I was thought to be ‘realistic’, to be a rational adult (boring, I know) and only used the 5 common senses to perceive the world around me.

I feel very grateful that I am back to being a dreamer, back to my love for nature and finally able to acknowledge my other senses as truth, because all of that makes me experience true Oneness in nature. Because of do I perceive spirit, intelligence, consciousness - however you want to call it - in all living forms; animals, plants, minerals, elements and the Earth herself. And because of that, I have found a true sense of belonging, of being accepted and unconditionally loved by the world around me.

I started Suus In Nature as an online journal, a place where I could unload my ever expanding camera roll and share my appreciation and awe for the beauty of life that goes soul deep. Along the way, as my own relationship with Gaia deepened, I realised that the earth loves us too, and in everything I share, and in every offering I create, my hope is to guide you into a deeper relationship between you and the earth, to feel you are part of nature, perfect in your uniqueness, and loved beyond comprehension.

I hope to inspire you to go into nature more often, to appreciate the uniqueness and beauty in all beings (including yourself) and remember:
