A forgotten film roll (Paris)

One of the fun parts about shooting film is that usually by the time I receive the scans I have no idea what I am getting back. Of course this is different when I have a shoot and send of the rolls straight away, but I am a very intuitive shooter and my mind is usually completely blank and not-involved, so regardless of how fast I send the rolls for development, it’s always a surprise. A few weeks ago I went to Scotland and while I was anticipating photos of mountains, rocks, and snow, when I saw the scans I also saw photos of sunshine, flowers and art! Apparently a film roll I have shot in Paris in July has been sitting in the back of my fridge all this time. I was SO happy seeing these images, especially now that it’s winter, it’s so nice to be reminded of the beauty of summer. I can’t wait!!! In the meantime I am just soaking in the memories from these film photos.
